Earth to online dater, hello???
If I read "down to earth" one more time in a personals ad description I am going to start screaming.
Has this replaced "seize the day" as the new hackneyed, meaningless buzz phrase?
I mean, "down to earth" as opposed to what? Raving psychotic on a maintenance dose of 600mg of Haldol am/pm? Why not just put "lemming" or "cow-like"?

What about "creative"? There are an astonishing number of people claiming to be creative online. Of course they are also down-to-earth, like to have fun and love the outdoors.
